Sunday 4/7/13 4pm—The system which is moving into the region tonight has high winds associated with it and the potential for 4-6 inches of new snow over the crest of the Sierra. Temperatures will drop quickly and the snow level will fall to as low as 4500 feet. Monday will be blustery with temperatures in the 30’s at resort level. Winds will continue thru Monday night, then high pressure will build in and temperatures will moderate. The models are struggling with next weekend’s system which which we were all counting on for some well needed moisture.
