We have had 2 days of warm wet precipitation here at 7800 feet. While the snow surface remains in excellent shape, the “R” word is been used. A new, colder system will move into the area on Sunday and will bring 4-8 inches of snow by Monday. The main part of the front slips south but cold air will invade our area on Monday. At this time there are no more storms on the horizon. Looking to mid to late Feb. for any major changes in the long wave pattern to set up. We still have plenty of snow and the surface should freshen up nicely this weekend and stay way with the cooler temperatures in place.
