For the first time in recorded history, yesterday we had 3 Category 4 Hurricanes spinning in the pacific. The temperatures in the nino basin 3.4 are 2 degrees above the the treshold for a strong El Nino so we are now in the very strong category heading to super. Here is a video from the national weather service and NOAA which shows the Hurricanes and the active northern jet stream which very much more October like.
3 Hurricanes in Eastern Pacific
A strong fall-like storm is impacting the Pacific Northwest today. Also, 3 hurricanes are present in the eastern Pacific.
